Thanks, 2012 Edition

Well, it’s the end of the year, and yet again, I have so much to be thankful for this year. I have a job, I can pay my bills, I have a great family that supports me through everything and I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and a child, which will be born in March of next year. All of these thoughts of thankfulness bring back some great memories of my life, and it just shows that the blessings have been overflowing ever since I was a baby. I’ve been blessed with health, blessed with talents and blessed to know Jesus Christ as my Savior.

There are a lot of things in this life that can bring you down. Money, jobs, relationships, health…it’s always a roller coaster. I find myself worrying about a lot of stuff and to be perfectly honest I’m scared of just about everything. I’m only confident about a few things in my life, but I know in my heart that I’m saved. And let me just say that being saved doesn’t protect you from life’s problems and misfortunes, but it does provide a light at the end of the tunnel.

I have traveled more than ever this year, and I have covered lots of events. I finished my second book, wrote a bunch of magazine articles, and photographed a ton of great cars and trucks. It’s great to know that I can make money doing the things I love, and don’t think it goes unnoticed. I’m blessed with so many things and I can’t wait to see where God leads me, especially now, with the special addition to my life coming soon. Let’s hope for a safe and prosperous 2013, and you guys can expect to see some “Best of” posts in the near future to showcase some of my favorite pictures of the year.
